Federación
is situated in the northeast of the province of Entre Ríos,
480 km from the City of Buenos Aires and 302 km from Paraná,
the province capital city.

In Federación, the season
is all year round. The temperature is pleasant in all seasons.
The old urban city center
lies under the waters of the artificial flooding that originated
the Salto Grande lake. Its new structure
gives it a vacational air with all the comfort to spend
a weekend or enjoy a longer stay.
The Municipal
Thermal Complex (first thermal park in Argentina)
is located on a 23-hectare area on one of the water sides
which makes view from the pools even more nicer. Apart from
the different uncovered pools at different temperatures,
it also has a sheltered pool where water from the thermal
springs reaches 42°C.
The lake
is another of the attractive sites of the city, because
of the frequent fishing of dorados y surubíes pintados.
Apart from that, it is possible to practise all water sports
and enjoy its rolling stones beaches.
